Hi! my name is Yuchen and I’m now a Ph.D candidate in Digital Media at Georgia Tech. I grew up in Yinchuan, a small, but quite and beautiful city in northwestern of China. I went to college in Beijing, Shanghai, Germany, and United States. These experiences shaped my interests and taught me to be resilient, empathetic, and curious. My professional education is in journalism and digital media. I’m fascinated by the intersection of art, design, and technology, and I constantly explore the ways in which technology shapes and might shape our culture. XR + Persuasive Technology and Digital Heritage are currently my areas of focus.
