Hi! My name is Yuchen Zhao, and I hold a Ph.D. in Digital Media from Georgia Tech. I grew up in Yinchuan, a small, quiet, and beautiful city in northwestern China. I pursued my undergraduate and graduate studies across Beijing, Shanghai, Germany, and the United States—experiences that shaped my interests and taught me resilience, empathy, and curiosity. With a professional background in journalism and digital media, I am fascinated by the intersections of art, design, and technology. My work explores how technology shapes, and might shape, behavior, culture, and society, with a particular focus on XR, persuasive technology, digital humanities, and digital health.
